- Carol Noren Johnson is from Plant City, Florida. Carol started the blog at the end of 2008 to chronicle her husband's dementia. The chronology of her marriage to her husband is listed at the top of this blog. She is planning a move to Huntsville, Alabama to live by family.
- Dolores from Seguin, Texas. Dolores' husband passed away from Alzheimer's.
- Linda, caregiver of mother and mother-in-law now both deceased.
- "Sally" from Plant City, Florida. "Sally" is married to "Jake"--not their real names. Sally and Carol and their two husbands with Alzheimer's often did things together. The husbands did not remember the stories they tell each other, but enjoyed their friendship. However, some of their stories were made up! It took Jake a while to realize my husband had died.
- DH--the Alzheimer's husband of any one of the above--but he doesn't post.
- Ann or ST--the Alzheimer's Support Group Facilitator for Carol and Sally.
- Kenny, volunteer caregiver for Carol's husband for over a year. Started April of 2013.
- Pharis, volunteer yard man and general repair since the end of August 2013. "It takes a village" to help. My husband no longer did yard work or fix things at home.
- Carol's husband died in June of 2014 just before she turned 70. Six months later she decided to move to Huntsville, Alabama where she has family. She is working on a seminary counseling dissertation of being a dementia caregiver.
