So sorry I didn't pick up on that quote. I will read your book more than once and of course follow your blog in our journey together down this caregiving road.Carol Noren Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103922738438801967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5303955596214986105.post-90545664668164384102010-11-03T22:03:41.652-04:002010-11-03T22:03:41.652-04:00Thank you, Carol, for reading my book and sharing ...Thank you, Carol, for reading my book and sharing your insights. Yes, Heaven awaits! In the final chapter of my book I focus upon our final destination. This path we are traveling here may be rocky--oh how much compassion I feel for you as you care for your beloved husband--but we are indeed headed to a better place. "The Lord helped me to the realization that death truly is the doorway to new life. He delighted to share His joy with me, and I could hear him say, 'Look! I am alive! And you will someday be with me where I am!' (p. 264, My Mom Has Alzheimer's)" <br /><br />"This temporary shelter is where I live for now, but Heaven is my home" (p. 262). <br /><br />If we don't meet during this journey we are sharing here in this world, I will look forward to meeting you when we arrive home! Meanwhile, it is lovely to have gained a new blogger friend.Linda Bornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07878172863563837367noreply@blogger.com
